The 2012 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival offers a series of lanterns display and activities. As 2012 is the Year of Dragon in the Chinese zodiac, the Kaohsiung City Government will combine dragon motifs with the traditional customs of the Lantern Festival for a holiday experience everyone can enjoy. Additionally, the romantic Water Lantern Event at Love River will combine the Lantern Festival with the romance of Love River as an expression of the theme of the Kaohsiung Lantern Festival: Love and Happiness.
